Demolition
Commercial and Residential Demolition
Steel, wood and concrete structures taken down by Tom Oesch's crews, hauled off, and the lot left clean.
What a bad teardown leaves behind
The hard part of a demolition is rarely the building. It is what gets left in the ground and on the lot: an open basement hole, debris pushed under the fill, a chimney nobody made a decision about. When a farm house or a lake house comes down, something new usually has to go up on the same ground, and the next builder inherits whatever the teardown left behind.
Steel is the other trap. A bucket alone will not part a beam, and a crew without the right cutting method ends up picking at it for a day. Our gallery holds a commercial job filed as Commercial Demolition and Scrap Metal Removal and another filed as Demo Left Chimney Standing, because on some jobs what stays up matters as much as what comes down.

How Tom Oesch's crews take a building down
We have taken down hundreds of buildings in 30+ years of controlled demolition: steel, wood and concrete structures, commercial and residential. The work is done with our own machines and our own crews, out of Atlanta, Michigan.
When a structure calls for it, we use liquid oxygen cutting to get through steel that an excavator bucket can't. Everything else is excavator work, our orange Hitachis and the operators behind them.
A home demolition typically takes one or two days. The estimate is free, and we take on both commercial and residential teardowns.
Hauled off, cleared and ready to build
We dispose of all the material, so nothing is left in a pile for you to deal with, and the site is left clean. If the land around the structure needs clearing as well, we can clear that too.
The gallery has a set called Lake House Demo and Rebuild, and a clean, cleared lot is what makes a rebuild like that possible. The same goes when a new modular home is going to be set on the ground the old building stood on.

Six teardowns, filed by name
These are the demolition sets in our gallery, named the way we file them. Burnt steel, barn timbers and house framing all come down differently, and the crew plans each one before the machine moves.
