Excavating, start to finish
Tom Oesch runs his own machines, his own trucks and his own quarry, so one crew can tear the old building down, clear the lot, dig the pond or the septic bed and haul in the stone. Free estimates on all of it, across Northern Michigan.

Demolition
We have taken down hundreds of buildings in more than 30 years of controlled demolition: steel, wood and concrete structures, farm houses, lake houses, small cabins. When steel will not come apart under a bucket, we cut it with liquid oxygen.
A home typically comes down in one or two days. Every load gets hauled off, the ground around the structure gets cleared if you want it, and the site is left clean.
Commercial and residential demolition
Lakes and ponds
New ponds and lakes, shoreline restoration, dike and dam repair. On soft ground we run a low ground-pressure bulldozer, so the machine floats where a heavier one would sink.
Seth Tuuri had us dig a pond where his camp roads were flooding out, then add a silt pond with culverts. It is stocked with trout now.
Lake and pond building on soft groundSeptic systems
We laser measure the planned location, file all the permit paperwork, excavate, supply the stone and sand from our own quarry and install the entire system. If there is an old system in the ground, we remove it and dispose of it.
Tank size is based on the number of bedrooms in the house.
